CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — An eastern Iowa man was shot and injured during a weekend hunting trip in Linn County.
37-year-old Eric Harms of Marion was hit in the leg by shotgun pellets while pheasant hunting Sunday afternoon.
Harms was hunting with 29-year-old Adam Bigley at the Wakpicada Nautral Area south of Central City. A group of birds came between them, and both hunters fired when the birds were at or near the ground. Two pellets fired from Bigley’s gun penetrated Harms’ leg.
