GA: Man accidentally shoots woman while hunting squirrels

SEA ISLAND, Ga. — A man has been charged with Reckless Conduct for accidentally shooting a woman while he was hunting squirrels on Sunday morning.

Edward George Johnson, 65, called 911 to report that he had accidentally shot Jane Prendergast, 70, with a .22 caliber rifle. Prendergast had a gunshot wound to her stomach.
